A Heart Built for Kauai

Many know Jeremy as the lifeguard from Kapaʻa Pool and Waimea Swimming Pool. Over the years, he has taught generations of keiki how to swim and coached athletes on the Kapaʻa High School swim team.
Those experiences weren’t just a job—they were about responsibility, trust, and being there for the community day in and day out.

Throughout his life, Jeremy has also faced significant health challenges, including multiple open-heart surgeries. Today, he continues to move forward with strength and resilience—an experience that has shaped his outlook and deepened his appreciation for life, family, and community.
For Jeremy, the decisions made today aren’t just about the present—they’re about protecting and shaping the future for the next generation.

Like many in the community, Jeremy has seen the challenges Kauai is facing.
He understands that change doesn’t come easily—and that if it were simple, it would have happened already. But he also believes that the right leadership can make a difference.
